| THE WORLD HEALTH DAY COMMEMORATED BY WODIA |
WODIA COMMEMORATES THE WORLD HEALTH DAY ON
APRIL 7, 2009
Women Development International Association (WODIA)marked the United
Nations' Designated WORLD HEALTH DAY in Partnership with the National
Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos (NOHIL) Nigeria with a seminar on
Causes and Treatment of Arthritis and other Bone Diseases held at the
Pavilion Hall, (NOHIL) Nigeria.
Chairman of the occasion was Dr. Wahab Yinusa - Medical Director, National
Orthopaedic, Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos . Resource Persons/Speakers were the
consultants of NOHIL. Target Audience numbering over 600 in Labour Force
made up of Female and Male were in attendance.
Lectures were delivered orally with explanatory audio visual aids and modern
multimedia.

NOHIL, Lagos Nigeria.
Other dignitaries represented included the Lagos State Commissioner for
Health, Dr. Jide Idris, the Chief Medical Director, Lagos State University
Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Dr. Femi Olugbile. Two Executive Chairmen of
Lagos State Local Councils attended the occasion. They were Hon. Abdul
Ayodeji of Agege Local Government Area (LGA) and Hon. Gbenga Basanya of
Igbogbo Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Zolon Health Care Limited, Lagos was present at the venue to advertise their
brand product ArthroGratis , an anti-arthritis drug supplements to the teeming
audience.
